I love this fellowship! I am so grateful for this opportunity, this has allowed me to understand how much professors truly care for their students. Seeing how you guys take time to listen to your students and change assignments just to fit there needs is really amazing đź’ś as a student you don’t really get to see the thought teachers put into their students we just see the lecture and assignments, but this experience has allowed me to see the how much thought and attention professor really give into preparing lectures and giving assignments. What I wish my professors knew??‍??‍?
I took some time to ask my fellow college students what are some things they wished their professors knew about them. And decided to make a blog post about it! Here are some things that they mentioned: 1. “I wish professors knew how helpful it is for us when they share case studies from their own experience, based on what their teaching. E.g. if they’re teaching law – talking about how what they’re teaching us helped them or was applied in a case they were part of. I am new to Open pedagogy, I have no experience with it but I am more than excited to have this experience. I believe that this is a great opportunity for not only the teachers but also the students. Its rare that students really speak to professors outside of a classroom setting. Having the students voice their opinion is really important because a lot of these professors though they are trying, don’t know what it’s like to be a student in today’s society(especially during a pandemic) This is a great because now teachers and students are able to communicate!
